Job Description:

The Learn & Discover Preschool is a private preschool program run by a certified teacher out of a licensed Family Child Care Home.

We are looking for a caring individual who loves children to act as a teacher's assistant and lend an extra pair of hands during our busiest time in the mornings.

Duties include supervising children's play indoors and outdoors, helping with hand washing and art activities, preparing snacks, changing diapers, and having fun with the kids!

Our program runs from 8:30am-4:30pm M-F. We are currently looking for someone to come in and help out 10-15 hours a week.

Job Requirements:

Must be outgoing, have good communication skills, and love caring for children!

Must be punctual and reliable.

Must have at least one year of private or professional experience caring for young children.

Must be physically able to run and jump to take part in outdoor activities with the children and be able to pick up and carry a child on occasion.

Upon hire, will be required to obtain Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification. (You will be reimbursed for all costs.)
